Happy New Year to you all and thank you for all that you do to contribute to the arts community locally.

The DeKalb Area Arts Council wants to again thank everyone that attending our first ever Arts Summit late last year and those that contacted us separately to provide feedback.  Our board is working very hard to finalize some plans and goals for 2016.

You can now VIEW our “raw data” from the Arts Summit that we wanted to share with all of you.  We have compiled to the best of our ability all the feedback that we received.  We are using all of this tremendous feedback to guide our plans for this year.

Some things to watch for that are coming soon:

1) Presentation of A.C.E. (Arts, Culture, and Entertainment) Corridor Resolution to DeKalb City Council and DeKalb County Board for adoption and recognition.

2) Announcement of 4 educational workshops this spring for the arts community.

3) Announcement of the formation of multiple committees that the board is forming and will be asking for the community to get involved.
